Todd M. Porter

Todd’s primary focus at Carden & Tracy is the defense of long-term care facilities. He is engaged in all aspects of such litigation, including pre-trial discovery and motion practice, mediation, trial, and appeal of nursing home and medical malpractice cases.

Todd began his legal career as an appellate law clerk with the Illinois Appellate Court, where he prepared approximately 100 appellate court opinions and orders in all areas of litigation. Prior to joining Carden & Tracy, he worked at another Chicago defense firm, focusing on the representation of hospitals, medical clinics, physicians and nurses.

Todd lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife and four children. In his spare time, he also enjoys skiing and playing golf.
