Johanna represents clients in the areas of healthcare defense, the defense of long-term care facilities and individual healthcare providers, the oversight of Title IX or sexual misconduct complaints and allegations, the implementation and oversight of risk management programs and large pre-suit investigations, municipal liability defense, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. In addition, Johanna maintains a business practice. She advises clients in various aspects of their businesses, from business formation to general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Carden & Tracy, Johanna was a prosecutor for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. She acquired significant litigation, trial, and appellate experience through her work as a lead Assistant State’s Attorney and her appearances before the First District Illinois Appellate Court.

In addition to numerous presentations to clients and their Insurers, Johanna has presented to national and regional groups.

Johanna is fluent in French.
